She would sell tshirts that say Want Less, Give More. She thought she would rather be about giving more and not wanting more. She designed a tshirt and buttons with this slogan and a picture with a globe and a smiley face. So far in one month Megan has raised 500. She is on her way to 3000.

Dayspring Church

Hey, just wanted to let you know that the creative arts people at our church are raising money to help build wells. Last year we sent in $9000. This year our goal is $10,000. Here is some of what is going on:

garage sales

benefit concert

knitting and selling scarves

eBay sales

a valentine's day dinner

pink flamingoes that get put all over peoples lawns -we call it The Flock. People pay money to the clean water fund to have them removed and then suggest another person whose lawn they go on.

Best story of all-

An 11 year old girl named Braelyn did a lemonade stand during the summer. She raised $159 dollars. Her goal is to ultimately raise enough money to build an entire well. Did I mention she is 11?

Thanks for giving us an outlet to make a difference.

David Foster
creative arts guy at Dayspring Church
Auburn, IN

Send us YOUR STORY...

We want to know how you went about raising money for Rwanda Clean Water.
